This delightful property is located in a small pretty village in the Rose Valley area of Kaloyanovo region.
The legendary freedom fighter Vasil Levski set up a Revolutionary Committee in this house during the year 1870 and there is a plaque on the wall of the property commemorating this fact. At the rear is a ‘secret’ door through which, it is reported, Levski used to escape the Turkish Troopers!
The house is authentic Bulgarian Revival style and comprises:
Ground floor – 2 rooms and 1 smaller one. There is an old traditional petchka oven.
Outside there is a nice covered seating area.
The first floor is accessed by new wooden external steps which lead to a lovely open balcony overlooking the garden and village.

The garden is a nice size and private. There are some fruit trees and 2 large well developed pine trees, also other plants and a few conifers. There is a large 2 storey barn and several smaller outbuildings. There is also an area which is perfect for a BBQ patio area. The property is partly surrounded by a stone wall.
The village is in a beautiful location, close to the Sredna Gora hills, open countryside and forests. The village has a couple of shops and cafes, also post office and bus service. There is a small lake on the outskirts of the village and others nearby. The village is well situated being only 26 kms approx. from the municipality centre of Kaloyanovo, approx. 40 kms from Plovdiv, approx 35 kms from the famous spa town of Hissar and approx 36 kms from the historic town of Karlovo. The nearest town of Kaloyanovo has many shops, supermarkets, cafes/bars, banks, bus and train services, plus many more.

In May and June, the fields surrounding the village burst into colour as the roses are ready to be harvested.
The Kukeri tradition is still celebrated here and villagers take part in the national annual festival.
